House. C16, altered in C18, extended in later C19 ('HK 1882' on grey brickwork at E end). Timber frame plastered with ground floor faced in C18 red brick on W half and grey brick on E half. Steep old red tiled roof. A 3-unit, lobby-entry, central chimney house facing N, enlarged at (E) service end in C19. C18 external red brick gable chimney at W to heat parlour. N front has regular 4 windows on each floor and gabled enclosed porch. S side to road has 3 windows to upper floor and twin rectangular bay windows linked by a hipped tiled roof. 3-light leaded flush casement windows. Large open fireplaces to central chimney, axial beams and 4-centred hollow chamfered doorway to parlour.
