GV II
House. Early C19. Red brick with stucco dressings and hipped slate roof behind parapet. 2-storeys and attics, 3 windows wide. Symmetrical front with plinth, floor band and stone capped parapet. 3 flat-topped dormers. Moulded surrounds to recessed sash windows with 6/6 panes. Pedimented entablature to central window over door; the others have a straight cornice on brackets. Projecting porch on fluted Doric columns with fluted frieze and paterae. 4-panel half-glazed door. Windows to side wall have segmental arches and reeded surrounds with corner blocks and paterae. Similar treatment of interior doorcases to 6-panel moulded doors and surrounds to fireplaces with fine cast iron basket grates.
