House, now 2 cottages. C17 or earlier, extended to rear in C18.
Timber frame plastered on low stucco plinth. Steep old red tile
roofs both parallel to street. One and a half storeys front
block extended by parallel rear range and the whole subdivided as
a handed pair of cottages with a central chimney to each range.
The street front has the openings grouped next the outer corners,
with a 6-panel fielded door with flat hood on shaped brackets and
a sliding 2-light Yorkshire casement adjacent towards the centre,
under a small hood. There is a flat topped 2-light casement
dormer window on the eaves of each half.
