Farmhouse. Early C18 incorporating large gable projecting chimneys and possibly the timber framework of a C17 house. L- shaped rear extension in early C19. Red brick with old red tiled roofs. 2-storeys and attics house facing S. In C18 on L-shaped house with brick 2 storeys rear wing on W half of rear wall. This wing extended to rear and a 2 storeys and attic wing built along E part of rear wall with roof parallel with front range and similar gable parapet and projecting chimney on E end. Long single-storey timber framed dark weatherboarded kitchen with steep tile roof, gabled stack and red brick sill extends to W from the original rear wing. Symmetrical 3 windows S front with floor band, 2 flat-topped sashed dormers in roof slope, moulded flush box sash windows with 6/6 panes, and central 8-panel door with flat hood on heavy straight brackets. Segmental arches to lower windows. Clasping buttress at SE corner, and gable parapets. Very large C17 projecting chimney with offsets at W gable and smaller C17 projecting chimney with tumbled brick offsets at E gable of front range. Another entrance into projecting gabled wing on N front with 2 windows to left. Half glazed panelled door in doorcase with fluted pilasters and flat canopy on fluted brackets. Sash windows with small panes, recessed. Ground floor with segmental arches, and one triple sash window.
