Farmhouse. C18 brick front to probably older building, C19 brick casing to N crosswing. Main range plum brick chequered with blue headers and light red brick dressings. C19 red brick N wing. Steep old red tile roofs, hipped at S end, half-hipped N wing. A large 2-storeys T-shaped house set back from road facing E. 6 bays main range has lobby entrance by internal chimney in 3rd bay from S with gabled projecting stair turret behind. Internal chimney N crosswing projects a little to front and more to rear with a hip-roofed turret in the rear angle with the main range. E front of main range has plinth, plat band, moulded wooden eaves cornice. Flat gauged arches to ground floor, segmental arches to 1st floor. 2- and 3-lights casement windows. 1st and 3rd 1st floor windows from S end blocked. 6-panels entrance door in single moulded surround. W front of crosswing has door to left of ground floor window and one central on 1st floor. Recessed margin-light sash windows.
