- II
House. c.1800 with a late C16 bay surviving, extended C20. Timber frame on brick base. Rendered. Steeply pitched tiled roofs. Symmetrical 3 bay front block with stair wing and kitchen outshut, an early bay survives to rear right extended so that the whole is now an L on plan. 2 storeys. Central entrance: door is 6 panelled, 4 fielded, with a pilastered architrave, flat hood projects on iron colonnettes. Flush moulded frame 16 pane sashes. Extruded red brick end stacks with offsets to left, cement rendered to right. Attached to right end and set back is lower 2 storey kitchen bay with a hipped roof, C20 casements. To rear 3 light casements and a central lean-to stair wing. To rear right is early bay with an extruded stack and a lean-to outshut on outer elevation, first floor 2 and 3 light casements. Extended by 2 bays to rear in C20 with a central ridge stack, casements. Attached to rear gable end is a low 2 bay outbuilding with brick and flint plinth, weatherboarding, pantiled roof, part open to yard. Interior: dogleg staircase with slat balusters, newel posts, moulded handrail.
