House. Early to mid C17, extended mid C19. Earlier building has exposed timber frame with some weatherboarding and red brick facing. Steeply pitched thatched roof. Later building is timber frame or brick, roughcast with a slate roof. Originally a small single cell with a lean-to outshut, 2 storeys and attic. C19 2 bay lobby entry 2 storey addition on one side, now front. Early house to rear has a gable end facing road. Ground floor two 2 light small pane flush frame casements with exposed framing over a brick and flint base, pentice boards to weatherboarded upper levels with 3 and 1 light small pane casements, bargeboards with finial. 2 bay right return, close studding with middle rail, 1 and 2 light small pane flush frame casements. Towards rear a brick, tile coped rounded oven projection. Rear gable end casements, exposed framing and an internal stack with rebuilt capping. Lean-to outshut from original rear has a catslide roof, entrance in short end with an open thatched porch, red brick on return or original rear face. To front and set to left is C19 addition with a central entrance, plank door with bracketed hood, 20:20 pane iron glazing bar horizontal sliding sashes in flush moulded frames. Boxed eaves. Central ridge stack. Interior not inspected.
