BARKWAY NEWSELLS PARK TL 33 NE 3/65 Garden Walls about 100m NW of The Bury
- II
Former kitchen garden walls to Newsells Park. Early to mid C18. Red brick with flared headers. Enclosing a parallelogram of about 90 x 60 metres. About 3 to 4 metres high with segmental brick coping, plinth. A door with a cambered head to NE, large arched opening to S and a larger break in wall to N. Angle buttresses on outer corners. Lean-to glass houses inside wall to N where it has been raised. Brick lean-to nursery outshuts outside wall to N, 1 and 2 light casements, a round headed window, corrugated sheet roofing. Newsells Park House is not listed.
