Details
RUSHDEN JULIANS TL 33 SW 7/26 Forecourt Walls, Entrance Gates and Claire-Voie immediately S of Julians GV II Forecourt walls, entrance gates and clair-voie to Julians (q.v.). 1937-9 for Col. R. Cooper. Red brick walls about 2m in height with moulded Portland stone coping extend away from house with a low stone coped brick plinth to wrought iron clair-voie facing house. Quadrant spur walls away from far angles. Flanking side gates, entrance gate, at far angles and terminating spurs are ashlar piers, rebated corners except to side gate piers which are panelled, moulded caps and bases, ball finials to side and entrance gate piers, urn finials at ends.
