House, early C18, extensively altered C19 and C20. Red brick with vitrified headers, yellow/grey brick addition to right. Tiled hipped roof. Two storeys, five window front; originally four window front double-pile house with entrance in second bay from left. Entrance now central; moulded doorcase with bracketed hood and fielded panelled door, repositioned C18 fanlight. C20 glazing bar sashes. Plat band between storeys and timber modillioned eaves cornice returned at ends. Two cross axial stacks to right and left of centre. One storey late C19 cement rendered canted bay window on left return wall has applied Corinthian capitals below stone balustrade. Canted brick bay window to garden on rear elevation. Interior largely remodelled C20. Converted stable wing extending to rear. High garden wall extending to left with arched entrance framed by piers with ball finials. (RCHM Typescript).
