Public House. C17 and earlier. Recased mid C19. Timber frame. Weatherboarded. Plain tile roof. 1 storey and attics. 3 gabled dormers. 3 glazing bar windows, the central dormer sash, the outer dormers casement. On left ground floor is a pair of 2- light casements, and on right a c.1970 extension. Towards left on ridge is a wide red brick stack of C17 origin. To rear are 3 gable ended projections, the centre one a narrow stair turret. The left gable end is plastered, the right one weatherboarded. Internally there is a C17 bay on front right with chamfered stopped beam and joists.
