GV II
Church. Foundation stone laid 1867, architect Sir George Gilbert Scott. Red brick with minimum stone dressings. Plain tile roof. Single aisle, the chancel arch marked by shingled bellcote with a slender spike. The nave has 3 3-light leaded casements beneath segmental relieving arches; chancel has 2 lancets. E end with plate tracery window and partly timbered gables. S porch with timbered arch and trefoiled lancets. To rear of church is a small school hall attached by a narrow corridor. Hall has segmental-headed casements matching those of church and similar timbered gables.
