GV II
Farmhouse. C16 origin, altered C17, completely recased and extended in late C18. Timber frame core, red brick exterior. Plain tile hipped roofs. 2 storeys. The house is in 3 blocks. The front block is wholly late C18 with dentilled brick eaves, 2 segmental-headed sash windows, and C19 canted bay to ground floor; half glazed late C18 door on left. To rear left, and projecting by 1 window, is the centre range. Internally it has 2 timber frame bays divided by a large C16-17 chimney stack. Casing similar to front, but with flush sash and casement windows. Chamfer-stopped floor beams of C16-17, probably inserted in earlier construction. At the rear is a gable-ended range, C17-framed on inside, but C18-19 casing. Rear elevation has 2 plank doors, the right one with simple square hood.
