Public House. C17 with early and late C19 features. Timber
frame. Painted brick. Machine tile hipped roof with rebuilt
central stack. 2 storeys. Dentilled brick eaves to whole of
original square block. Front has 2 flush sash windows with 8/8
panes. Ground floor has a late C19 projection, canted bay
windows each end and 2 windows between. Continuous wooden fascia
band with small triangular pediments. South elevation has 1 sash
window. Interior shows two and a half bays of heavy 2-storey
framing, chamfered floor beams and plates exposed upstairs.
Attached to SW corner is a c.1900 hall with gable end to road.
Single storey.
