11/30 Range of 2 barns and adjoining stable 25 metres SE of Sleapshyde farmhouse 20.11.79 formerly listed as Barn about 30 NE of Sleapshyde: farmhouse and Barn & adjoining,stables 25m SE of Sleapshyde farmhouse). GV II
Pair of barns and attached stable. The barns are late C17; C19 stable attached on S forming L plan. Timber frame. Weatherboarding. Red brick base. Corrugated iron walls on N gable end. The larger barn on N may be slightly earlier. 3 bays. Deeply projecting cart entrance at N end on W side with a deeply jettied gable. The S barn is also 3 bays and has central projecting cart entrance on E side. Later lean-to addition on S. Both barns have queen strut roofs. Stable at right angles on S end is weatherboarded with pantile roof.
