Farmhouse. Mid C17, rewindowed late C19. Restored circa 1980. Timber frame. Painted brick ground floor. Plastered upper floors. Plain tile roofs. 2 storeys and attics. The front has 2 wide gable ends and a narrow 1-window centre. 1-window 2- storey wing on right. All windows are flush glazing bar sashes, those of the gable ends and wing triple hung, central sash single hung. Flush panel door beneath stack. Tall red brick stack on cruciform plan with arris to front face. Continuous plank band above ground floor. Rear elevation is fully plastered. C17 painted brick extension, continued on right to join with C19 barn range (q.v.). Interior of house has good oak newel staircase rising to the attic behind the stack.
