2. C17 or earlier timber framed house with high pitched, tiled roof. Later alterations. Main front on return to garden. House has been divided, but is now one property. Left section faced in brown and blue mixed brick with red brick dressings. C18 3-light and 1-light casement windows with glazing bars in flush, box frames on lst floor. Brick band at 1st floor level and traces of earlier jettied front. Gauged, segmental brick arches to door and window on ground floor. Later, 1-light window inserted. Brick plinth. Gabled hood on curved brackets to door. Right section has plastered 1st floor, weatherboarded ground floor. 1st floor 2-light casement window and ground, floor replaced, 4-light window. One-storey, modern extension to right. Gable end to street, with wide chimney over pent-roofed, brick bake-oven which has ingle fire-place inside. Interior with several exposed studs and beams, including tie beams in 1st floor ceilings. 2 adjoining, gabled rear extensions, brick faced.
