Farmhouse. C17 or earlier, SW tower mid C17, brick casing to front early C18. Timber frame on sill of pebbles and narrow bricks in header bond, roughcast, SW tower in narrow red brick in English-bond, S front in chequered red and black brick in Flemish-bond. A 2-storeys, T-plan house facing S with projecting W crosswing, 2-storeys pitched-roofed small rectangular tower attached to SW corner of crosswing with a large projecting chimney with 2 linked square shafts in the angle at the side of the wing. Large internal chimney at junction of crosswing with hall range has attached shafts and corbelled top. Single-storey service wing at E end. S front has projecting gabled wing on LH with roughcast gable triangle above the brickwork, 4-lights casement window to ground floor and 3-lights to 1st floor. S side of SW tower roughcast leaving plat-band exposed. Hall range has 3 casement windows to 1st floor, central 4-lights casement on ground floor, entrance near E end, and apparently a 3-bays roof structure. 3-lights window to E service wing. 3-lights casement window to each floor of W crosswing on W side. Small single-light window to each floor of SW tower.
