Details
SOUTH CAVE MARKET PLACE SE 93 SW (east side) 2/43 Fox and Coney public house GV II Public house. 1739 on lintel with later alterations. Brick, colour-washed, coursed rubble, pantiled roof. 2 storeys, 3 bays in symmetrical elevation; centre bay breaks forward slightly to C20 boarded door with narrow overlight under flat gauged brick arch with projecting keyblock bearing date. To right and left are C20 inserted bow windows with boarded shutters. First floor: three 4-pane sashes with sills. End stacks, tumbled-in brick to raised gable to right.
