BRANTINGHAM BRANTINGHAM THORPE PARK SE 92 NW 5/6 Gateway and garden walls at Brantinghamthorpe GV II Gateway and garden walls. Mid-late C19: garden walls incorporate large reset early C18 panels. Rubble and ashlar. Round gateway with dropped and fluted keyblock flanked by Ionic pilasters: fleur-de-lis to left spandrel, Rose of England to right, pulvinated frieze, modillion cornice, scrolled pediment with central and flanking obelisks with ball finials. Scrolled consoled to balustraded parapet on rubble wall to right, ramped coped parapet to left. Rusticated pier with moulded cornice carrying giant urn to far left. Garden wall has ramped coping and regular coped dwarf piers. Myth- ological panels with cupids, ribands, and swags. Included for group value
