WEST ELLA WEST ELLA ROAD TA 02 NW (south side) 9/56 No 233 31.1.67 GV II
House. Early/mid C19. Gothick style. Brick, pebbledashed and colour- washed, pantiled roof. 2 storeys, 2-window front with central gabled porch. Buttresses with offsets to corners. Boarded door under segmental arch flanked to right and to left by sliding sashes with glazing bars, the left window under a hoodmould with shield stops. Small C20 inserted window to left of porch. First floor: similar sliding sash with glazing bars to the right; C20 replacement window to left. Raised coped gable and end stack to right. Outhouse to right not of special interest. Included for group value.
