House. Mid C17. Cased and extended C18, altered C20. Timber frame, whitewashed brick casing. Tiled roof. L-shape originally with lobby entry. 1 storey and attic. 3 bays. Central entrance with simple timber and tiled porch. Ground floor casements and 3 half dormers breaking eaves with raked roofs. 2 and 3 light casements. Hipped roof. C17 axial stack to centre. Original wing extends to rear right with slightly lower ridge. 2 storeys. Central entrance. Casements and 1 sash to left. Cambered heads on ground floor. C18 extension fills inner angle of L and projects to rear left. Casements to rear, some cambered heads. Hipped roof with stack at junction with rear wing of original house. C20 glazed conservatory added to right and linked to barn. Interior: exposed timbers, stopped chamfer to binding beam. Clasped purlin roof. C18 barn attached to SW. Timber frame, weatherboarded, some brick. Corrugated iron roof. 4 bays. Projecting gabled threshing bay. Clasped purlin roof. (RCHM Typescript).
