Details
SE 90 SW MANTON MESSINGHAM ROAD (north side) Cleatham 5/46 Cleatham Villa - II -
Farmhouse. Early C19 front, extended to rear and re-roofed in later C19. Partially stripped of late C19 rendering in 1984. Coursed limestone rubble; basement rendered. Red brick and stucco dressings. Slate roof, yellow brick stacks. 2 storeys with basement, 3 bays; symmetrical. Flight of 5 stone steps to central Doric doorcase with attached pilasters supporting an open dentilled pediment. Panelled reveal with radial fanlight and later C19 panelled door. 16-pane sashes with stucco cills and lintels to basement and ground floor. Similar windows to first floor, with central 12-pane sash. Hipped roof. End stacks. Interior contains original panelled window shutters, doors and architraves.
