GV II Pair of cottages. Mid C19. Brick, in Flemish bond; gabled-end slate roof. Both are 1-room plan cottages with rear extensions. Left-hand axial stack and axial stack heats each cottage respectively. 2 storeys. Front: 4 window range, two 16-pane and two 12-pane hornless sash windows to first floor; two 16-pane sash windows to ground floor; both front doors with canopies on shaped brackets. Included for group value, especially with Elmside, Bass's Orchard and Lavender Cottage (q.v.).
