Barn to north-east of Tower Bank House
(Formerly listed under B5296)

Bank barn. c,1740 with wing c.1812. Stone rubble with large quoins and slate
roofs. South elevation has small gabled wing to right. 3 cow house doors with
ventilation slots and stable door under pentice. Winnowing door and ventilation
slots, some cruciform, above. Wing has end casements and entrance to return,
lateral stack to right return. Small later lean-to outshut to left return.
Rear has pivoted doors under pentice. Interior has cow house partitions, and
stable partitions, formerly with chutes for food from barn; corn bin, Property
of The National Trust.
