Details

TAVISTOCK HAMLETS DEVON GREAT CONSOLS SX 47 SW 5/150 Tree View - 13.1.86 GV II Mine-captain's house, now house, c. 1850-60, with some later alterations. Mixed whitewashed rubble, slate roof with brick gable stacks. 2 storeys and 3 windows, all 16-pane porch, wooden, has half-glazed door with 6 panes and margin glazing, plain pilasters to sides, 6-pane light with margin glazing to left and right side, cornice, inner 4-panelled door. Left return has single storey C20 glazed conservatory. Rear has single storey C20 addition along ground floor with corrugated iron roof and brick stack, first floor central 10-pane light, possibly to stair. Interior not inspected.
