Linhay. C19. Cob on rubble footings with some C20 brick patching; granite piers
and timber frame; slate roof. 2 storeys facing north. Roof hipped to right and
gabled to left (although brick gable suggests that left end too originally hipped).
4-bays. Granite orthostats support massive cross beams which support hayloft floor
and seat rising posts which carry low pitch A-flame roof trusses with pegged, lap-
jointed collars. Right bay apparently never floored and presumably used as
cartshed.
