Details
HORSMONDEN GROVEHURST ROAD TQ 73 NW (east side) 4/40 1 & 2 Capel Cross Cottages GV II
House, now house pair. C17 or earlier. Timber framed and tile hung on sandstone base with plain tiled roof. Lobby entry plan. Two storeys on plinth with stacks to centre right and at end right. First floor windows high under eaves with two 3 light and central 2 light wooden casements and 5 light mullioned window to end right, and 2 light and two 3 light wooden casements on ground floor. Two half-glazed doors to centre right under single raking hood. 'Half timbered' outshot added to left with wooden casement.
