House. C17 dated 1629. Timber-framed and clad with painted brick, the
right return front weatherboarded, with plain tiled roof. Two storeys
on basement expressed as plinth, with tiled and weathered string course.
Roof hipped to left and gabled to right with truncated stack at end right.
Three paired C19 sashes on first floor, 2 on ground floor, and 2 openings
to left and right to basement. Central half-glazed door in gabled porch,
approached from left by flight of 6 steps. Porch gable with bargeboards
pendant, plaster medallion of Romulus and date 1629, taken from a ceiling
at Lynsted Park.
