House incorporating former shop front. Early C19, extended at left end probably in late C19. Painted rendered stone rubble. Slate roof with gable end brick stacks and axial brick stack.
Plan consists of shop to right of entrance passage and two heated rooms to left, the left end room being in the added late C19 bay. Service roms in 1½ storey continuous outshut to rear.
Two storeys. Five-window range. All 12-paned sashes except second from right end which is blind. Six-panelled door with small overlight. Shop front at right end with flanking channelled pilasters and unadorned fascia and incorporating four-panelled door, with glazed upper panels and overlight to left of large 15-paned shop window with thick glazing bars.
Interior not inspected.
Cherri-Dene is one of the few remaining unspoilt houses in Combe Martin.
