COMBE MARTIN CHURCH STREET, Combe Martin SS 54 NE 1/63 Newton chest tomb approximately - 3 metres south of south-west corner of south porch of Church of St. Peter ad Vincula GV II Chest tomb. Mid C19. Brick plinth with slate slab. Anthemion motif to top corners. Inscription to Mary Newton of Kings Arms Hotel Combe Martin who died at Tavistock "where she had been for the change of air" in 1844 and to other members of her family.
