GV II
Farmbuildings consisting of a stable or shippon range with loft over and a threshing barn. Early to mid C19. Stone rubble with a tiled roof to the north range and a slate roof to the east range, hipped at end. Plan: L plan: 2 adjoining ranges forming the farmyard immediately to the east of Aldridge Mill Farmhouse. Exterior: The north range is lofted with a large entrance in the centre, and a small window and 2 rounded doorways to the right; loft entrance to left of centre. The east range is lofted at the left end only and has a lean-to adjoining the front at the right. Large doorway to right with stone cheeks and paired doors (similar opposed doorway on rear elevation); 2 smaller doorways to the left with rounded arches. The right return of the barn, facing the road has one opening and an opening in. the return of the lean-to. Forms a good group on the roadside with the adjacent farmhouse.
