WITHERIDGE SS 81 NW 5/63 North Lodge GV II Former lodge to Bradford Tracey House (q.v.) Rubble core roughcast and whitewashed, hipped thatched roof central brick stack on the ridge to the centre of the roof. Plan and development: 3 room L-shaped plan; the principal right-hand room has direct entry through a doorway in the right-hand end, and an axial stack at the left end. The smaller left-hand room and the small room behind in the wing have service rooms in the basement below. In the C20 a single storey extension was built in the angle of the L. Exterior: 1 storey and basement. 2-light casements with glazing bars. Door opening to the right, plank door, small slated porch. This is a picturesque lodge probably associated with Bradford Tracey House (q.v.) and its gate-lodge.
