Tannery House

II

House, c.1830-40. Painted stucco. Slate roof with gable end stacks and carved
bargeboards. Double depth plan with small 2-storeyed right angled projection to
rear right end. 2 storeys. Symmetrical 4-window range of sashes, the outer sashes
hornless and of 12 panes, the inner sashes 4 over 4 panes with margin glazing bars.
Ground floor has 2 sashes, 2 over 2 panes. All window openings have moulded
architraves. Tuscan porch distyle in antis. Half-glazed panelled doors with round
arched sidelights. Panelled inner door, the upper panels glazed.
