Milescone. Early C19. painted granite block triangular in section; mainly concealed in Embankment. Inscription; To Modbury threequarter mile to Plymouth 11 miles. Stone located c.150 m east of approach lane to Edmeston Farmhouse. On the Modbury to Plymouth turnpike, made after 1827.
