Details
LODDISWELL ALLERON SX 74 NW 5/87 Round garden c.60 metres north-east of Alleron House GV II Wall enclosing circular garden. Probably early C19. Rubble, with cob to top, thatched covering. A circle of c.18m diameter contained by wall c.2.25m high; on side towards Alleron House (q.v.) an opening to flush voussoirs with key- stone. The interior is now laid to grass, but formerly presumed for cultivation of fruit or delicate planting.
