HARBERTON SX7658-SX7758 EAST LEIGH 14/405 Granary and barn immediately SW of Foales Leigh
GV II
Granary over cart shed with attached bar, probably converted from earlier farm building. Circa late C18 or early C19. Slate rubble. Granary has slate gable ended roof; barn has corrugated iron roof with gabled ends. Plan: Large rectangular plan with granary over cart shed at higher west end and adjoining, lower, single storey barn at lower east end. Exterior: Granary to right has external stone stairs to first floor plank door. Cart entrance with timber lintel and lean-to on right. Barn to left has wide cart entrance at front and hipped roof lean-to addition at lower (east) end. Interior not inspected. Situated on south side of farmyard at Foales Leigh.
