SX5751 YEALMPTON BOWDEN HILL 11/200 2/6/77 Cider house immediately west south west of Bowden (formerly listed as Outbuilding immediately west of Bowden)

GV II

Cider house. Circa C17. Stone rubble. Slate roof with gabled and half-hipped ends. Two storeys. At higher east end barn doors with slated hood. External stone stairs to loft door at centre. Chamfered cambered lintel to doorway at lower end. Two small C18 wooden window frames with cambered heads. Ventilation slits. Situated facing farmyard with back to road. Interior: Collar braced roof trusses. Large chamfered ceiling beams. Cider press with granite trough.
