2. Picturesque pair of Cl9 cottages of painted brick, 1 storey and attic (with dormers). Main gable ends hipped, roof of slate. Hipped slate roofs also to timber porches and to rectangular bay windows of ground floor. Porch fascias have names QUALITY and TRANQUILITY in vernacular lettering. Included for group value.

The Shutters and Rose Cottage, The Well House, Quality and Tranquility, Laurel Cottage, and Wick Farm Cottage and Branders Cottage form a group around Wick Village green.
