2. Includes Nos 29 and 31 Seamoor Road. 1884-5, Henry Joy (builder). Well-preserved polychrome Gothic shopping arcade. Symmetrical facades to Poole Road and Seamoor Road, red brick with stone dressings. 3 round-headed arches for Arcade entrance, central one taller and half-glazed, with alternating brick and stone voussoirs under pointed relieving arches. Cornice of wings carried up over central arch gable (raised stone erection on top). Scrolly ironwork across central arch, over site of gates. Wings project round quadrant corners: ground floor shops with classical pilasters (original details unaltered on Seamoor Road frontage). Round-arched windows to 1st floor with alternating brick and stone voussoirs, coupled round-headed windows to 1st floor with H J monogram in spandrels under relieving arches and gables, recessed chateau roofs. Interior gently curving: arched glazing bars to shops mostly intact, buff brick 1st floor with red brick bands and stone frieze joining lintels (grotesque corbel heads to cornice). Glazed roof of arched braces with small pitched-roofed lantern, criss-cross of iron tiebeams held centrally by dominant foliage bosses of iron.

Westbourne Arcade Nos 69 and 7l and Nos 29 and 31 Seamoor Road form a group.
