Chestnut Farmhouse

II

Farmhouse. Late C18. Regularly coursed gritstone with plain gables, coved eaves band, intermediate and end brick stacks and stone slated roof. Three storeys, four bays, one bay without window openings, the remainder with glazing bar sashes, those to the second floor with nine panes, the remainder with twelve. Two doorways with quoined surrounds and heavy lintels, both with four panelled doors, with the upper parts glazed. Blocked quoined doorway and window opening in south gable. Lower projecting two storeys range, and lean-to to rear elevation.
