Details

SK 19 69 PARISH OF ASHFORD IN THE WATER GREAVES LANE 11/42 (East Side) Taxus Hill and attached garden walls GV II

House. Early C19. Coursed limestone with gritstone dressings and quoins. Stone slate roof. Stone coped gables with plain kneelers. Stone gable end stacks with plain bands. Plain eaves band. Two storeys with lower two storey section to west. Three bays with two bay section to west. Central doorcase with stepped architrave, plain lintel and moulded cornice. Glazing bar sashes in plain surrounds to either side. Three similar windows over. To west, two further similar windows to ground floor. Single similar sash over. Attached limestone rubble wall to west with slab gritstone copings. Wall continues round front of house.
