House and attached former pair of cottages, now one house. Early C19 with later
alterations. Roughcast stone with gritstone dressings, and chamfered quoins to
Bradford House. Slate roofs with stone coped gables with plain kneelers and stone
gable end stacks. Bradford House, two bays and three storeys with canted plan;
The Cottage, two bays and two storeys. Bradford House to east has flush doorcase
with small, fluted blocks to either side above lintel and panelled door. To
either side, glazing bar sashes in plain surrounds, that to east a considerable
distance from doorcase. Above, two similar windows in similar positions. Above,
to eaves, two similar, shallower sashes with similar window between. Attached
to west, The Cottage has flush doorcase with glazing panelled door and similar
blocked doorcase to west. Beyond to west, adjoining pair of glazing bar sashes
in flush surrounds. To east, similar single glazing bar sash. Above, two glazing
bar sashes in flush surrounds. Included for group value only.
