12.7.67 II

House. Late C17 with C19 and C20 restoration and C20 addition. Gritstone ashlar to advanced central bay, coursed squared gritstone elsewhere with large gritstone quoins and gritstone dressings. Plain tile roofs with stone coped gables, ridge ball finials and stone gable end stack, midway down east gable. Three bays with with central one advanced and two storeys, plus attics. Central moulded four- centred arched doorcase to central bay. Set back to either side, single recessed and chamfered windows, both formerly mullioned, now with leaded lights. Above, to each side, 2-light recessed and chamfered mullion windows and similar windows with hoodmoulds to sides and front of central bay. Above, plaque with crown carved in relief and over in gable, a chamfered 2-light mullion window. West gable wall has C20 4-light recessed and chamfered mullion window with major central mullion, and above, C17 similar, but shallower, window with hoodmould. Above again, recessed and chamfered 2-light window. Large C20 addition to rear. Interior has exposed ceiling beams.
