II
House. Late C18 and mid C19. Coursed squared gritstone with gritstone dressings
and quoins. Plain tile roofs with stone gable end and ridge stacks. Stone coped
gable with plain kneeler to east gable of western addition. Two storeys, L-plan,
three bays by two bays. South elevation has two bay C18 cottage to east with
advanced, higher C19 addition to west. C18 cottage has flush quoined doorcase
with wooden porch over. To west, 2-light flush mullion window with shutters, to
east, C19 plain sash in flush surround. Above, two 2-light flush mullion windows.
To west, in C19 addition, plank door under plain lintel with casement window over
in flush surround. East elevation - C19 addition has large central two storey
canted bay window, with plain sill bands and moulded cornice. Four pane fixed
light windows to all sides above and below.
