House. Late C18, extended C19 and C19 and C20. Red brick in flemish bond, hipped slate roof. Rectangular plan. EXTERIOR: 2 storeys. Chimney with clay pots. Plinth and modillion eaves soffit. Entrance (south) front: formerly 3 bays with one bay extension on right and a canted bay extension on left end. 1st and 3rd bays are Venetian windows. The 2nd bay is a C20 half-glazed door which formerly led onto a balcony. The 4th bay on the ground floor projects with a C20 window. The entrance door is C20 and mostly glazed on the right hand side of a C20 glazed enclosed porch with lead roof and sides in the form of Venetian windows. The 2-storey extension at the rear is C19 and has hipped, tiled roof. C20 wing adjoining on the north (Brookside House); is C20 and of no special interest. INTERIOR: not inspected.
