Pair of houses, now one. 1877. Tooled, coursed, squared gritstone. Ashlar
dressings and quoins. Steeply pitched plain tile roof. Stone coped gables. Moulded
eaves cornice. Two storeys, two bays. Two central doorcases. Plain surrounds,
flat stone hoodsover on two sets of brackets. Two raised and fielded panelled
doors with plain rectangular fanlights over. To either side, large glazing bar
sashes in plain surrounds with dripmoulds over. Above, two similar windows. Between
them, a stone plaque with inset oval, inscribed 'WG 1877'. Included for group
value only.
