2/175 Gate piers, gates and railings l0m west of Church of St Bartholomew.

GV II

Gate piers, gates and railings, probably 1847 with later repairs. Ashlar gate piers with cast gates and railings. In a free gothic style. Octagonal piers on square bases. Bases have carved quatrefoils. Piers have trefoiled panels. Pointed apexes with floriate finials. Cast iron gates and rails with 5-part leaf finials to uprights. Approximately 4m of railings to the north of the piers has been replaced by a C20 substitute.
