HALF MOON STREET 1. 1625 (South-east Side) Premises occupied by Sherborne Supermarket including rear wing ST 6316 1/120 II GV 2. Late C18 to C19 2 storey, 4 window ashlar front of 2 builds. Slate gabled roof. On first floor, 3-light sash windows with glazing bars missing to two left hand windows. On ground floor, from left to right hand end, 3 early to mid C19 shop window openings with incised line ornament to pilasters; stone doorway (now converted into a window) with similar pilasters supporting entablature; at right hand end, sash window 3 panes wide. Long rear wing of C19 style with slate roof. Coursed stone rubble; ashlar dressings. In Digby Street front splayed one storey modern addition with entrance to shop at north end; to south of it, 2 windows, 1 blocked. 3 windows above. To south again, on ground and first floors, another group of 3 windows and one group of 2 windows. Modern windows of 2-tiers with upper opening tiers; segmental head linings. Ledged door. South-east facing return of 2 storey, 3 window bays; square-headed doorway on ground floor.
