C18 to mid C19. Two storey, two window bay brick front, now with roughcast cladding (stone rubble to rear). Plaintile roof. Altered gabled dormer. Sash windows in wide flush frames to first floor. Slightly projecting shop front below. Half-glazed door. To left hand, house door of six reeded flush panels; five-light rectangular fanlight.
The listed buildings on the South Side of The Green form a group with No 2 (The White Hart Public House) Cheap Street.
